Cribb, Preston
Preston Cribb (1876-1937) was born in Portsmouth the son of a ship's carpenter. Cribb was an illustrator, etcher and cartoonist who studied at Portsmouth and London. He exhibited extensively, showing 34 works at the Royal Society of Artists, Birmingham, at the Royal Academy, and others at the the Royal Cambrian Academy and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.
