Oliphant (John)

John Oliphant, was a Scottish portrait painter “who also worked in watercolour painting landscapes, children and fisherfolk, often on Arran.” ( Dictionary of Scottish Artists) He exhibited at the RSA between 1832 and 1843.


He died in 1905, probably in Edinburgh.
